27,000 new immigrants arrived in Israel

In the past year 2016,  27,000 new immigrants arrived in Israel – Israelites from all over the world returned to their homeland – the only country that welcomes them. Young people made up the largest number of immigrants: 9,500 from the age of 18 to 35. Of this number 5,150 were younger than 17 and the remainder were older than 45. The majority came from Russia, some from the Ukraine and France, and smaller groups from other countries.

Are the prophecies true? Yes, today we see it happening before our own eyes! But you need to know the Word to see what is happening in our days. Two thousand years ago a man called Peter spoke about these days in 2 Peter 1: 19: “And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it.” And are the prophecies of Ezekiel coming to pass? This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “When I gather the people of Israel from the nations where they have been scattered, I will show myself holy among them in the sight of the nations. Then they will live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob. They will live there in safety and will build houses and plant vineyards; they will live in safety.” Ez. 28: 25,26

You may wonder what this has to do with Yad L’Ami. One of our projects is to give assistance to these people who have to settle into a new living situation all over again; some are optimistic and some are depressed from the changes.
