Many children in Israel live below the poverty line. The cost of living is higher than in Western Europe, while the average income is lower.
In order to ensure equal opportunity for these needy young students, Yad L’Ami responds to requests to provide backpacks filled with school supplies at the beginning of each new school year.
This is a wonderful project to participate in: For €85, each student receives a well-stocked backpack!
